Round Highlights
- Brisbane (13.18.96) def Collingwood (13.16.94)
In a closely
fought match in wet conditions Brisbane stormed home in the final
quarter (with the help of AFL umpire Michael Vozzo and his several
dubious free kicks paid to Brisbane in front of goal) to snatch
the victory in the final minutes. The match demonstrated how although
AFL footy players can adapt to wet conditions, the AFL umpires
and their interpretation of some rules clearly aren't.
